Scarves, Snoods and Shawls OH MY!

16 Aug

Being an absolute scarf and snood fiend I thought it was only right that I showed a few of my fave pics of the season available online and on the high street. Scarfs, snoods and shawls are one of the most versatile items in my wardrobe they can dress up any old t-shirt, coat or act as an alternative to wearing one at all (shawls!). I like to have huge black scarf/shawl with me while travelling on trains or planes for when it gets cold which it usually does! River Island have actually come up with the goods this season where you’ll see many of choices are from including this galaxy print scarf which I’m already in love with and will be bought very very soon!Miss Selfridge have a great grey and white skull print scarf a nod to Alexander McQueen no doubt. I also adore this red snood from Topshop it looks so warm and cozy. However as it’s only August there are jersey alternatives which are lightweight but still handy on cold evenings to throw in your bag!

(links below!)

I know many people still are yet to get on board with the snoods but they’re unbelievably comfortable and save you struggling with the right way to tie your scarf…I couldn’t recommend them more!

I big ole pashmina is an absolute must when you’re flying, no matter what the season! Keeps you warm and you can wear it during the trip too – I never leave home without one.

Thanks for the comment!! It’s a cute coincidence we had the same thought when titling our posts. I am in full agreement about the need for a scarf or a shawl when traveling – in addition to being cozy during chilly train rides, there’s something so chic and appropriate about having a cute scarf on en route.

I love scarves, snoods and basically everything else related to Autumn/Winter.
The colours of the shawls in the first and last picture are great – so excited over buying some for Autumn/Winter.

Totally obsessed with snoods! Sadly left my favourite black one on an airline at the end of last winter…. need to find a replacement! Your list is an excellent place to start rummaging through in the hope of finding one! xx

I love scarves too (can you ever have too many?) but I haven’t bought a snood yet – they always seem to fall a bit awkwardly to me.
