These are my picks of the perfect pastels!Ice-cream colours are everywhere right now even though the weather isn’t ready for them it’s always nice to pick up a few spring/summer items in advance! Although pastels can be quite muted like this blouse from Oasis, stores such as Zara, ASOS and New Look have all got a hint of neon in their pastels ensuring you won’t look too washed out… pale lilac against pale skin can make you look a little grey! However I do love the muted ice blue of these skinny trousers from River Island, a very wearable pastel for spring! I just bought an apricot blazer from new look yesterday … it’s looking VERY bright currently peaking from my wardrobe considering the dull weather outside..
My favourite way to introduce pastels right now is by wearing pale violet and mint shade nails! Such as the POP Nail varnish above or what I am currently wearing Revlon Charming. The best mint shade I’ve found so far is Barry M mint green.
Pastels are a great Spring trend and there is so much colour choice making it really accessible for anyone.
*just take note too much ice cream can make you feel sick this also applies to ice-cream coloured clothing.
